The dates of this years girl state is June 15-21. The delegates were sponsored by The Mill and by Durkee-Seager Unit 550 in honor of Lucy Howard.  The Auxiliary wishes to thank The Mill and their organization for their support of the Girl State Program.

Girls State is a weeklong hands on government simulation held at MSU. All Michigan girls who have completed their junior year and will be attending a Michigan school their senior year are eligible to apply to Girls State. The delegates learn local and state government, plus so much more, and have a great deal of fun doing so.  For more information go to www.legion-aux.org.
