2009 GIRLS STATE DELEGATION

The following young ladies have been selected to attend the June 21-27, 2009 American Legion Auxiliary Girl State Session: Cindy Kelley, Chelsi Willgus, Emily Hlavka, Jennifer Doyel, and Amber Wesley.  All of these young ladies attend Onsted High School and are sponsored by the Onsted American Legion Auxiliary, the Onsted Kiwanis and Hubbard's Auto Center.

 

Girls State is a weeklong hands on government simulation held at MSU. All Michigan girls who have completed their junior year and will be attending a Michigan school their senior year are eligible to apply to Girls State. The delegates learn local and state government, plus so much more, and have a great deal of fun doing so.  For more information go to www.legion-aux.org.
